Thanks Teak for your feedback, I really do appreciate it. But can some other folks "chime in" some, this has me freaked more than I may have let on. PLEASE check out my question "Psoriasis as HIV symptom" I posted here on 4/2. I was hoping to get a few more opinions, it would really help. Thanks all and God bless.

Causes
Psoriasis may be one of the oldest recorded skin conditions. It was probably first described around 35 AD. Some evidence indicates an even earlier date. Yet, until recently, little was known about psoriasis.

While scientists still do not fully know what causes psoriasis, research has significantly advanced our understanding. One important breakthrough began with the discovery that kidney-transplant recipients who had psoriasis experienced clearing when taking cyclosporine. Since cyclosporine is a potent immunosuppressive medication, this indicates that the immune system is involved.

My opinion: the above statement says that this condition has something to do with the immune system, but in all honest, what DOESN'T have anything to do with your immune system, colds..fevers..flus.. depending on your risk and exposure, i don't think you have hiv, because everything now a days is a symptom of HIV.

read on the body, that psoriasis will not delay seroconversion time from Dr. Bob.
Further, psoriasis may be involved with the immune system, but is not a disease of immunodeficiency, especially since it responds to immunosuppresants like hydrocortizone
