Thank you for your support. I will take your word. And by all practical means I never had an exposure. I will try to move on
You never had an exposure in any of the situations you provided.
As for the symptoms your family members are experiencing, whatever they are they simply can't be from anything they caught from you unless it was a cold or something.
I am assuming you have not had sex with your sister or any other members of your family, and so there's no way any of them could have caught HIV from you, even assuming you had it, which seems to me extremely unlikely. As Dr. HHH has put it, properly used condoms are 100% effective, so the episode of sex you describe simply couldn't have resulted in an HIV transmission, in my opinion.
Thank you jpn2013. It feels better hearing it from someone. I've been on this forums for the past eight months. I've had so many. thoughts in my head. I just need someone to talk to. My sister is pregnant. And I'm afraid that she might have it as well. Please don't let it be true. That somehow she got it from me and also my nieces. How crazy is that they're constantly complaining , recently about how such they feel with stomach ache and chills headaches constipation diahrea. Please god don't let it be true.
Hello. As has been stated repeatedly on this website (including by the two specialists in this area, Dr. Hansfield and Dr. Hook), the chances of HIV transmission through oral sex (even unprotected oral sex) are pretty much zero. Penile-vaginal intercourse with a condom is pretty much the same. If you didn't actually notice the condom tear, it's exceedingly unlikely that it tore. If you had had unprotected vaginal sex, that would be a different matter. Basically, from your description, you practiced safe sex and it looks to me like you have nothing to worry about.
