Need your advice doctor, Kind of worried

Hi doctor

I am a 29 y old straight male. I am married, I never had sex with any female other than my wife. On april 28th I met this 21 yr old girl(she had sex w/ other male partners in the past), we went for dinner then we chatted a while, after few hours we got attracted to each other and I french kissed her for a good 40-45 secs, there was no open sores on both of our lips, then I realized I am cheating on my wife and stopped kissing and said bye, never had oral/anal/vaginal intercourse, it was just a pure french kiss. After that incident I have been getting nightmares about HIV and other STDs.I called her and asked her whether she had any HIV/STDs she said no(I beleive her, but still it pricks me at the back of my mind). I also called CDC they say open mouth kissing can damage the mucus in the mouth an can transmit HIV.It is going to be a month since that incident, I have no symptoms like fever, rash or flu like symptoms. After this I had 2x unprotected sex with my wife and I was scared to death whether I may transmit some virus to her. My questions are 1)Can french kissing transmit HIV/any other viruses(as per CDC)
2)Do I need to get tested 3)If I need to get tested is 30 days from the day of kissing enough or should I have to wait 6 months. Kindly answer doctor as I can't move forward in my life. Thanks in advance for answering my questions

HIV and STDs are not transmitted by kissing.  As a govenment agency, CDC has to take a conservative, CYA approach to such questions.  Is there a theoretical risk?  Yes.  Has such transmission ever been known to occur?  No.  You do not need testing for HIV or any other STD.

I'm not primarily a relationship counselor.  But 'Can't move forward in life' is an irrational and overreaction after such an event, and it suggests to me a need for consultation with a mental health professional.  I suggest it out of compassion, not criticism.

No follow-up 'yes, but' or 'what if' questions, please.  There is no information you can provide that would alter my opinion.

See my reply above:  "Is there a theoretical risk? Yes. Has such transmission ever been known to occur? No."

"I heard" is the least reliable of all information about HIV transmission and most other health issue.  Pay zero attention if the information doesn't come from a professional source and if not backed up by scientfic data.
