Need your help please HIV phobia here

Well years ago I wasn't well informed about HIV ways of transmission, well I though I did. Well I think I was at a high risk situation, because it involved blood and an open wound, ok let's start I was with my friends so we both get injured because we were playing so my hand was rubbed with something and It was red and peeled I think and some blood came out it wasn't too much, then my friend came to help me but he has an open wound too so his blood touched my wound, my fresh wound! It wasn't too much blood too but it was visible, I got scared so I ran to the restroom to wash my hand but there wasn't soup or something, so how risky was that situation? Because I was touched with blood on an open wound, I've read that the wound has to be really deep, or it has to need stitches, I didn't need stitches, but it took a while to heal, what about if my wound wasn't too deep but the blood went into my veins, I've read that when you cut a vein it doesn't bleed a lot, I'm afraid that I cut a vein in that event, also I've read that fluids exposed to air aren't risky but it was quickly, we both got injured at the same time and he touched me immediately, yes immidiatly, also I've read that you only have to have contact with just one drop of blood in order to get infected, it was more than just one drop on my wound, please be specific, I'm scared and I need to get informed, everything related to blood scares me

Hello. We are sorry you are so stressed out and anxious.   MedHelp adheres to the position of the CDC as well as the input of leading expert physicians that HIV is only transmitted through unprotected vaginal or anal sex, the sharing of needles, or from mother to child.  This is the only means of transmission and what you describe above is incorrect and was not a risk for HIV.  Good luck to you
