Hi all,

Can i ask a general question, if i am poke by a hollow needle without syring, outside health care environement, any risk

If the needle is detached from the syging is it less risk then one with syring?

Did you have a risk or are you just wondering? We deal with actual risks here and not "what if's".

Hi

Today, as i was walking barefooted in my office, i felt a ***** on my sole, i looked and saw a lump on the mat below, i flipped open the mat and saw a stone below, as i was flipping the mat to take out the stone, i felt another pricked, i look around and did not notice any other stones, as the light was dimmed at that time, i do not know if there was any hollow needle protuding out from the mat or the ground

I am quite sure there is not syging but is worried is the hollow needle which could be small

You need to seek some serious help with your HIV Phobias.  You didn't get poked by a needle....you never ingested blood....you seriously seriously need to start focusing on getting some professional counselling.  Your obsessions are unhealthy.

i am worried as i work at the construction site with many workers from different backgrounds, and they go in and out our container office (make shift office)

I Just want to know as i really felt the *****

So nurse girl, does hollow needle detached from syring poses any more risk, can blood in the hollow needle be deactive like few seconds outside the body and pose no more treath when it pose me?

The CDC states that they have never had anyone reported in a non-healthcare occupation contract HIV from a needle stick or scratch. This does not include those that share works with other IV drug abusers. Most all IV drug abusers use insulin syringes that the needle cannot be removed from the syringe.

As nursegirl said you need to get some help. You have posted many times about HIV from a needle and in food. This is an obsession and it is not healthy.

It's time to move on. Stop playing "what if" because it didn't happen and it will not happen.
