Had a brief unprotected relation with a non profession escort.  she got on top of me and i realized no condom so i did not continue.  6 weeks later I get a sore throat that turns to ear infection and with that comes a 5 pound weight loss in a week.  I am not exercising nor did I change my diet.  How Likely is this HIV?

Unprotective vaginal sex for les then 10 seconds.  It was stuck in and pulled right out.  I dont know what you mean by my symptoms being unrelated cause they came on to late.  Thanks for your help Teak.  I am a wreck.  Please be detailed with me about the symptoms I am having.  The weight loss is the one that scares me.  Sore throat turned to ear infection.  No fever.

Thats right. there are millions of things that can cause a sore throat, way more common than HIV. And as far as i know ARS dont cause ear infections, and the weight loss is probably due to anxiety.

so i guess that brings me back to the original question.  The encounter happened July 16.  The Sore throat started August 12th, the Ear infection followed...the weight loss now.  What are my odds by the above sexual experience

the poster had a real exposure, unprotected vaginal sex.  it was less than 10 seconds but still an exposure.

ofcourse there was a risk and a 3 month test is needed. your symptoms do not sound like ARS
