New symptoms, Im getting worst. Posible "false negative"?

Hello,

I know some of you assessed my situation as having no risk; and I respect your opinion, and thank you for it. However I'm getting worst, I have constant headaches (not really strong, usually a single Excedrin pill is enough), flew (again, second time in two months, however the whether is really bad), some episodes of diarrhoea (twice in the last week, before that never), and now insomnia. I'm having trouble staying asleep and I'm waking up early; for instance, yesterday I fell asleep at 10 pm and woke up at 2:30 am and wasn't able to fell asleep again. Right now I have recovered from the flew, but still have a lot of coughs; they are not constant through the day, but at some point I get a cough "attack" and start coughing for about an hour until I calm down. The coughs and the insomnia are really freaking me out. No fever, that I can tell nor night sweats nor rash.

Furthermore my girlfriend is developing symptoms; she doesn't know anything, so her symptoms do not count as "anxiety" ones (I haven't told her anything). She has flew like symptoms and constant headaches.

To my knowledge my risk situation might have been on October 1. I took an ELISA test on the 10th of December and the results came back as non reactive; that would be about 70 days after the possible exposure. I would take the definitive test in January.

So I have a couple of questions.
- How reliable is my result? Any chance of a "false negative"?
- If my symptoms were from seroconversion, would an ELISA test come back as positive even inside the window period?
- What about the symptoms? The cough and insomnia?

Please don't answer me "you had no risk", it is just unhelpful; no offence intended.
Thank you in advance for your time. Happy holidays.

in the case of anxiety insomnia maynot exactly mean waking up early and staying awake

sometimes our mind continously works even while we are sleeping thinking about something
and next day you are as good as sleepless

i knew this cause this happened to me even before this incident happened with me

thinking about some results, work or about hitting someone in the face ............ happens

go get some sleep :)

Hi Tinnerman,

In my case I have been having headaches long before the insomnia; actually it was the first symptom I noticed. However I'm going to follow your advice and work out, and see if I can clear my mind and rest. But in my case I don't think that he insomnia is causing the headaches.

Hope your results are negative.

Hi dude

Search on my name and you ca see my posts
I had protected sex and assessed to be no risk but I am Also still scared and I didn't evn get tested Also
I have same kinda symptoms like you
But I bet you won't have that headache when you did have that insomnia

We are getting headache cause we are not sleeping
We are not sleeping cause we are scared
And when we don't have sleep we are making our body vulnerable to all kinds of pains and infections. I am having pain in my ear and increased blood pressure too

Don't worry you will be fine and so will I be

My advice : workout, make your body app tired it would have to sleep and once you sleep normally for 3 or 4 days you won't have any headache anymore

Lemme know your result when you get tested

Ps and you said your prostitute is filthy lol all ****** are filthy, we are the ones who Needs to understand that and keep Em away.

Miles to go before I sleep :)

When people develop antibodies to HIV, they "seroconvert" from antibody-negative to antibody-positive. In other words seroconversion has occurred. It may take from as little as 1 week to several months or more after infection with HIV for antibodies to the virus to develop. After antibodies to HIV appear in the blood, a person will test positive on antibody tests.

So if the symptoms were actually seroconversion symptoms, the ELISA would had been reactive? It is just an hypothetical case.
