Night Sweats no Fever

Hello-I hate to bug others with my obsessive questions. I just need some input on some things because maybe some of you have experienced similar symptoms. Last October I engaged in sex with a man who told me he gets tested on a regular basis and is negative. I do believe that. We had protected sex and let me say that he had a huge problem keeping himself "excited" and I don't believe he even ever came. (sorry if thats TMI lol) He took of his condom off for about 30 seconds and attempted to have sex with me with not much luck. I told him to put another condom back on because I truly believe in safe sex. However, about a month or two after we had sex I went through a bout of night sweats for about a week. That was the ONLY symptom. There was no fever, no sore throat, fatigue, weight loss, nothing. I woke up and my chest was damp as well as my stomach and behind my knees. The sheets were somewhat damp but not drenched. I'd get up in the morning and feel completely fine, and felt no sickness during the day. Since then, I get night sweats a few times a month. (I am currently on  200mg Lamictal which is a mood stabilizer and I'm on 200mg Zoloft which is an antidepressant. To my knowledge those are pretty high doses. I have been informed that nearly half of the people on my meds experience night sweats. If it were HIV, would there have been fever and other symptoms present? Let me just tell you a little background on why I have anxiety about HIV. 8 years ago I was raped and the man who raped me called me and told me I had HIV. I became severely depressed for 2 weeks waiting for my results. I lost 10 lbs and thought my life was over. My results were of course negative. I feel there is a bit of post tramua there. Anyway, back to the topic, are my worries unwarranted?

Classic ARS symptoms are very high fever, rashes on trunk-torso and limbs and very sore throat, sweating at night can occur for a number of different reasons.Hiv is never diagnosed on the basis of symptoms alone. The answer to your question is-NO.

Sorry, that wasn't really my question. I understand the only way to be 100% sure is to test. My question was can sweating at night with no fever or accompaning symptoms be indicative of  HIV?

If he penetrated you then you were at risk and require testing,if not then you don,t.Symptoms don,t diagnose hiv a test at 3 months post-exposure does.

He had taken oral steroids in the past so it made his testicles tiny and I mean TINY. He could barely keep it up and I never saw or felt any cum whatsover.

Sort of, he was really soft. Like I said, my symptoms was only sweating at night with no fever. I'd think if it was HIV then I would have had other symptoms, especially fever.
