No semen at the tip of condom - HIV risk?

Few weeks ago I had protected anal sex with a guy of unknown HIV status. I was the top. From start I felt like I was close to ejaculate but I lasted about 10 minutes. After orgasm I pulled out, condom was intact but couldn't see any semen in the tip. Any chance I got any risk during this event? I rechecked the condom after sex looking for anything wrong (I was so nervous) blowing air in it and no holes or tears. I can't stop thinking something may have happened during sex. That never happened to me before. Is there any way I could have climaxed without ejaculating? Please help ease my anxiety...

If a condom fails it is a large rip down the seam that you both would notice, so that didn't happen. You don't need to blow them up anymore to check.

You have been reassured that your condom did not fail and that you have no reason to test for HIV. You may want to discuss with your doctor a condition known as "dry orgasm." It can happen for several reasons, but usually in young men it happens if not enough time has elapsed since the last "productive" orgasm. It can take up to a couple of hours for the male body to produce more semen/sperm.

Thanks, Ruby. Actually I ejaculated the night before the encounter but during intercourse I remember holding it really hard to make it last longer. I'm sure condom didn't break based on advice I got here. I had an std panel done just to call my anxiety, I'll get the results soon.

So am I safe to assume I didn't have an exposure? Maybe a condom leakage or something? I'm having severe anxiety over the event.

You can't get HIV if you use a condom that isn't lambskin no matter what detail you add to it, including bleeding cuts etc.
thank you for clarifying that, I really appreciate it

Just to close this thread, I'd like to thank AnxiousNoMore and Ruby once again for helping me. I really appreciate it!

If anyone else ever have the same situation happening to them, this also might help:

I took a 4th generation DUO test, 29 days after the encounter and results came back NEGATIVE.
