Not sure if this is a risk or not

I've recently began to date an HIV+ guy, we're both guys. We haven't had sex yet (anal or oral) and I am completely aware of the risks that come with doing so and when and if we come to that, we will definitely use condoms. He is a great person and I would never want something like HIV to come in-between us dating because I am aware that even though he has HIV, he deserves love just as much as any other person. Now to my question:

We were making, which I know in itself isn't a risk. I had a couple cuts in my mouth near my bottom gum line, but I know that even with this, there is no risk. While kissing, he kind of grabbed my upper lip and bit it, and a small wound appeared either on my upper gum line or on my upper-inner lip (can't remember). It wasn't bleeding, but there was definitely a chunk of skin kind of missing. I remember "tasting" blood, but that could have been just my mind playing tricks on me. Is this a risk? thank you...

"Kissing is no risk, even deep ("French") kissing and even with a person who sores on their mouth or has gum or dental disease."   DR HOOK

"Of course no risk. HIV is not transmitted by kissing, even with sores in the mouth.

Despite the billions of kissing events in the AIDS era, not one case of HIV has been known to be transmitted that way, even though millions of those kisses undoubtedly were with cuts in the mouth or on the lips."
