"Occult HIV" , is this really rare??

1st of all i think i may have OCD with regards to HIV. I was put at possible risk last Sept.
I had 3 rapid test up to the 3 month period which all came back negative

Last week i had to go for hep jabs at hospital and they also gave me a routine AIDS test (which i kind of wanted as i wasnt to sure if rapid tests were 100% reliable)

My test came back negative from the lab and i felt more relived, but not i have heard about "Occult HIV" which is becoming quite common and not showing up on tests

Can someone pls she some light on this, do i need to go for another test and ask to test for this?

This quote says it all.  If you do not seek help for this...you will continue on this endless cycle of worry-testing-worry-testing indefinitely.  Who wants to live like that.  Quit searching the net....stop getting tested, you are conclusively negative...and get some help with your anxiety!

I also had a proper blood test taken at the hospital which came back from the lab as negative.
