One time low risk ALL SYMPTOMS

23 heterosexual male. non-drug user, healthy,  one time low risk incident
Please help any advice is greatly appreciated.
I have been reading that alcohol can depress the immune system therefore not producing enough antibodies within 3 month to be detected. I usually drink during the weekend sometime heavy(i stopped drinking now). Would this effect my results? Any ideas? My story: I had a long low risk oral me receiving exposure in a risky place one time plus prolonged deep kissing , all symptoms(extreme fatigue, swollen lymph nodes all over noticeable under right armpit, developing rash on back, tongue ulcers, yeast infection side of groin/thighs, constant vision change, 2 -4 nights of sweats, insomnia, diarrhea, weight loss about 15lbs.) but never really had a really high fever. My LYMPHOCYTES WHERE LOW on the cbc panel initially and the neutro where high  which have me convinced i'm infected, these went back to normal which is typical of acute infection. Dr. said its stress put me on anti-depressants and said he's not convinced, and said its not what i think it is. Its been very hard, ive isolated myself from everyone. no support. I'm not the whining type but i feel like my life is over. Yes i can admit lots of these symptoms might be dues to stress/anxiety but it didn't start with stress/anxiety it started with symptoms and then came stress/anxiety.
2 week std panel(chlamydia, syphilis , gono, hiv) neg.
6 week elisa neg.
more tests in between neg.
ER mono negative. literally kicked me out and refused to test me for HIV
8 week proviral rdna negative confirmed by eliza 1/2 by labcorp(http://www.labsafe.com/lab-tests/test/436/ ) neg
Am i pretty much screwed? this site has been keeping me from doing anything stupid. I read forums on here where people have all symptoms but negative. Teak i know you are very knowledgeable in this area please help. I'm going back for 4 month test soon.
Thank you

See dude, 1st of all I apologize for sounding mean if I did. Secondly, looking at what experts say all over the world, HIV really is not a risk for insertive partner in oral sex. You may think that the responses you are giving are helping people but I think they are just adding fuel to fire. When, this is a no risk situation, what good is it doing to ConvincedOne in you telling him that you are at least 95% through with the testing you have had. At least, this makes no sense for me. Anywayz.....peace!!!

Oral and Kissing are Not Risky. Noone Has Ever Been Infected This Way.
Saliva Contains lysic enzymes with Deactivate Hiv Anyway.
You Would Have to Drink Several Litres and Even then not be at Much Risk.
(Unless Bleeding HEAVILY, Which you would have noticed)

Lymph Level Can Go up and Down, Even Throughout the Days/Week even.
Any Infection can Affect this. Hiv affects CD4/CD8 Ratio, Anyway.

PCR is usually used in Addition to Antibody testing in Suspected ARS
A PCR is More Likely to be False POSITIVE....... than Negative. FACT

Noone Can Diagnose over the net, but (Strictly) Medically Diagnosed Lymph swelling Means Some Infection was there. There are Over 80 Causes of Lymphadenopathy. All More Common than HIV.

As O-G Points Out, I am not a HIV Specialist, Try HHH again Later, But I think He'll Say Pretty Non-Existant HIV Risk, Tests Prove Negative Anyway, Continue to See Health Provider....

Hope it Helps!

Isaac - So, you have a medical degree... WOW!! I don't. Never wanted to become a VET.

Convinced - You will do yourself a favor by not listening to this guy. If at all you want a proper advice, either spend the 15 bucks for asking Doc the question or post you question to RapidRod or Ann at Aidsmeds and listen to what they say.

Isaac, about the full extent of exposure, i was under the influence but i  do remember getting oral 5 min, and i know i would have remembered if there was intercourse. But the deep kissing was prolonged lasting maybe 2-3 hours. Yes i do think there was a risk, and i did notice a cut on side of shaft. I tried posting this to Dr. HHH but after posting it never showed up on the forum, not sure if i got charged. Thanks for listening guys.

Thanks Isaac and o_g, sometimes you need someone to tell you "you're safe" to calm down. And no i'm not an alcoholic but have few drinks on the weekends.  When the doc fist saw how stressed i was he was about to tranquilize me. but decided not too. Right now i'm doing a little better. Right now i'm not even thinking about the risk but the symptoms. Any comments on the low lymph percentages? The yeast infection which is bothering me the most right now, along with fatigue. I though you develop yeast infection after some few years after being infected.

Isaac the reason i say that i'm screwed is when i searched the internet all the symptoms added up, i was convinced. But then i ran into this site and started reading about people with similar symptoms and turning negative. For some people it turns out its mono, others keep testing for years with undiagnosed disease. I know the mind is a powerful thing and i believe it can cause some symptoms but my low lymph initially had me convinced and still does. The 8 week test was a relief but then i jumped back on the internet and found the PCR not reliable even though the site states 99.9% accuracy. Thank you

Hello,
I said The Risk Is Low, We dont always know full extent of exposure.
(some people dont fully disclose all the facts)
The Guy is Obviously Worried, Has symptoms after a minimal exposure.

I am not a HIV specialist, neither are you. There is no Obligation to listen.
This is a Patient forum, He can pay $15 and talk to HHH.

.............IF.......... there was an exposure, (He Thinks there is a risk, so it's REAL enough to him to be Suicidal) by now it's effectively Ruled anyway,  Well OVER 95% (if there was any Transmission)
Counselling is Needed, No Further tests are needed. READ

"You are Hiv Negative and will be forever unless you get exposed again.
Don't Bother with more tests."

Its Pretty clear.

Have you got a Medical Degree???  Although Hiv is Not my Speciality, I dont Pretend I am.
Thought not, Well I do.

Dude, what kind of advice are you giving here. Do u even have  an idea that the original poster had no risk to begin with and you are telling him that he is 95% safe. Are you out of your freaking mind? Why do you have to go about advising people when you do not not know 1st thing about HIV transmission?

4gt to add ...........................Dont do anything stupid

"Am i pretty much screwed? this site has been keeping me from doing anything stupid."
WHY?????????

so far all your results are negative, so you are not "screwed" be happy!   >95 % Safe

KEEP THE FAITH. read these pages, there are a lot of people in same boat. Your risk is low anyway. However I KNOW where your coming from.
You may feel like **** now, it may take a month or even 3 like me,
but you will feel better.

Alcohol Can depress immune system, but not Antibody production. With Combined Stress and Adrenal Imbalance. BUT IT WOULD NOT PREVENT HIV AB PRODUCTION.
It could activate latent infections, leading to Mouth ulcers etc

Alcohol Would not Prevent Ab Production. If you Had swollen nodes, Antibodies ARE PRESENT.
I Drank a lot during My "ARS" So I guess it wasnt Hepatitis!!!
Alcohol Causes Depression, Makes Fatigue Worse!! Vicious cycle.

I too Have stopped, In fact It Now makes me feel sick.
You are Hiv Negative and will be forever unless you get exposed again.
Don't Bother with more tests. I guarantee they will Continue to be -ve
I have Had the Same Symptoms/ High Risk Exposure, and no Answers.

Just Unlucky to Have had a Virus, but it's not Hiv. Viral Infection and Extreme stress can cause a type of Chronic fatigue syndrome.
hope it helps

high neutrophiles generally indicate bacterial infection of some kind and not a viral infection. Moreover, w/o even getting further into details of your post, let me tell you that
receiving a BJ is not low risk but it is no risk. There has not been a single proven exposure resulting in infection from the event you describe till date.

And, stop posting wrong information that alcohol can depress immune systems. I have not heard that till date but Idon't know if that holds true for drunkards.

Use of alcohol is not listed among the factors affecting the immune system. Unanimously agreed window period of 3 months is valid for all those countries where liquor is not prohibited by law.  Your 3 month test would be conclusive and final, rest assured. Further,  your 6 week negative test highly encouraging and you are going to get your 3 months report also "negative".

CBC interpretation for HIV is not correct, and you start assuming may false conclusions, due to lack of professional knowledge of blood chemistry. Rely on your ELISA antibody test, which is accurate, specific and reliable.

Also symptoms do not mean much and most of the time misleading.
