If you believe you have been exposed to HIV and want help to judge your risk, would like advice about HIV testing, or have questions about the effectiveness of condoms or risks associated with specific sexual practices, this is the site for you.
Hi everyone, I have waited long after I believe to get tested - 6 months - rapidRapid shallow breathing test negative - after an exposure with a hiv girl. I normally shave my chest every couple of months or so, but right after the exposure I started having an itchy chest, after I shave again the itch goes away for a couple of weeks. This has been 6 months now off and on. I just have never have had this problem before. Saw my dermo, don't have any answers for me. I also got tested for syphilis - negative. Does this sound like an ARS rash or have anything to do with another STD? Any help would be cool. I just don't know what else I should do. Thnx.
Not at all, 3 months is CONCLUSIVE. Occasionally, a Dr. will suggest a patient retest to 6 months for their own peace of mind, NOT for clinical relevance.
