Oral Sex And HIV?

I have read over the internet that HIV can be transmitted through oral sex in such a way whereby the HIV virus theoretically could gain entry from the mouth of the infected partner(the one giving oral sex)to the opening on the tip of the penis even though there is no open cut or lesion on the penis. If you receive oral sex, however, you mainly expose yourself to saliva, which has negligible concentrations of HIV(this statement is quoted from Brown University health education).Other than HIV,you can also contract other STDs like herpes, gonorrhea and syphilis from unprotected oral sex(both fellatio and cunnilingus). But I have gone thru medhelp forum and most of the time you will tell us that you will never contract HIV from oral sex.So who is more accurate? Can we contract HIV when the saliva of an infected HIV positive woman enters the tip of our penis?Pls advise.Thank you!

So in other words this is due to the fact that the mouth (which has saliva in it) is an inhospitable envoronment for HIV and the fact that there is Oxygen present as well hence making any if any HIV present non viable for infection. Unless the other person was bleeding, as in a large amount of blood then there would be a theoretical risk. So from what I have described I can just put it down as nothing an move on from this?
Thanks for your input, and I will look forward to your comment/answer in relation to the above.

What is the risk if you are the insertive partner and there is a small cut on your penis from the other persons teeth and it is slightly bleeding. Is this still considered no risk or is it low risk?

The key word is theoretical- that doesn't mean it actually happens.

No. You won't get hit by a meteorite either- worry about more important things.
