Oral Sex HIV Risk

I just want to get your assessment regarding this. Here is what happened to me. I had an unprotected oral sex with a man of unknown status. I swallowed his semen after he ejaculated, the next day I've noticed that there are small cut on my mouth, maybe because of the food I've ate before that oral sex. My question is do I have a risk for HIV infection? I've asked this question already in some website. They answered me that testing is no longer needed in my case because oral sex carries a low risk. But I'm still worried. I still want to get tested to have peace of mind. My only problem is that I'm staying here in Saudi Arabia. as you all know they have discrimination here for homosexuals. I'm afraid that If I get a test and they asked me for some details that I had an oral sex with an arab. I'm afraid that they might  inform the authorities and have me arrested. They are very strict here when it comes to homosexuals. My  plan is to get mu HIV test during my vacation in the Philippines, but that would be January of next year. Is is OK to delay testing? or if not I think I have no choice but to really have a test here in Saudi. Hope you answer my question. because I'm really bothered. Thank you.

Sorry for asking too much questions. But I'm happy that I'm not at risk although I think I'm have anxiety. Just wanna ask  Is aidsmeds and this forum affiliated with each other? Because that's also their answer to me. But in other forum they told me to get tested. That's why I'm a bit confused.

You have been given questions from the Dr's on this website about oral sex. Not sure what more we can tell you on the subject.

I still have a question. Why is it that others say that oral sex is not 100% risk free and still need to be tested. I still want to be tested but my problem is that I'm staying here in Saudi. I'm afraid I may be put to jail. because it is forbidden here to have oral sex with a man. Do you think If I delay my testing and make it the next year it is OK? What is the guarantee that it is really impossible for HIV to infect through oral sex? thanks a lot. I really do hope all my worries fade. I lost a lot of weight and appetite because of thinking. right now I have cough and phlegm and every night I experience muscle twitches. I'm afraid this are symptoms of HIV. sometimes I also have diarrhea. Please advice me.  It has been a month already since I had that unprotected oral sex and I feel guilty that I did it. It was my first time to do it. I had no experience in sex before , only that one.

But I'm still confused with what other websites are saying. They also requires testing for cases of Oral Sex. I've also read that swallowing semen add risk. I'm afraid from HIV but no other choice but to wait for my vacation just to have tested. Because here in Saudi they are discriminating homosexuals here. Do I need to get an HIV Testing? I'm afraid of symptoms, because right now I have cough and phlegm.

there are over a dozen different proteins and enzymes in the mouth that inhibit transmission from taking place.

FROM THE HIV EXPERTS HERE AT MEDHELP:

"As you know from other posts about oral sex, our stance is that giving or receiving oral sex is not a risk for HIV.  Some others suggest that there is an appreciable risk of HIV from oral sex however, there are no convincing scientific reports which support these statements.  The presence of a burn in your mouth, or a sore, or ingestion of blood does not change this.  Still no risk an no reason for testing."  DR HOOK

"As far as HIV is concerned, there is no known risk of getting HIV from performing oral sex on an infected partner, even if that person's genital secretions get into your eyes or if you swallow"  DR HOOK

There is no debate (among experts) about the HIV risks associated with oral sex.  The risk is so low that almost nobody who cares for HIV infected patients has ever had a patient believed to have been infected that way.  Among experts, it's a semantic issue about using terms like "no risk" and "very low risk".  There is no difference between my or Dr. Hook's use of "low risk" and other experts' "no risk".
DR. HANDSFIELD

"And oral sex is basically safe sex -- completely safe with respect to HIV and although not zero risk for other STDs, the chance of infection is far lower than for unprotected vaginal or anal sex.  Please educate yourself about the real risks.  If you stick with oral sex and condom-protected vaginal or anal sex, you have no HIV worries and very little worry about other STDs. "   DR HANDSFIELD

"I am sure you can find lots of people who belive that HIV is transmitted by oral sex, but you will not find scientific data to support this unrealistic concern..."   DR HOOK

"HIV is not spread by touching, masturbation, oral sex or condom protected sex."- DR. HOOK

in the public HIV Prevention forum of MedHelp, TEAK and the other moderators maintain that oral sex in all forms is a zero risk activity. Would you agree with this assessment?
I TOTALLY AGREE / DR GARCIA

The observation on thousand and thousand of observations is that HIV is not spread by oral sex (of any sort).  DR. HOOK

"With regard to the question you ask, I will repeat, as I’ve said more times than I can think- there are NO credible cases in which persons have acquired HIV through performance of oral sex- none!!.  The chance that you will be the first is ridiculously low.  You are more likely to be hit by lightening while reading my reply to you. DR HOOK

"HIV is not spread by masturbation, through oral sex, through kissing or other casual contact." DR HOOK

"There is no credible evidence that HIV is spread through oral sex, with or without the presence of cuts or blood in the persons mouth."- DR HOOK

"Oral sex. there is no evidence that HIV is spread through giving or receiving oral sex"- DR HOOK

"HIV is not spread through oral sex."  DR HOOK

"HIV is not spread through giving or receiving oral sex"   DR HOOK
