Thrush is not HIV specific and thrush with HIV is usually esophageal thrush, but at no time did you have a risk in the situations you've provided.
Thanks for the informed response. So whats with the thrush? Is it normally difficult to get rid of? Im just so worried that it showed up just after my negative test result... That was my only risk exposure though. Can you get thrush from cunalingus?
Your only risk was when you engaged in sexual intercourse, and this was PROTECTED, so you do NOT require a test for HIV as you have no risk.
You oral sex episode with this sex worker had not put you at risk - so assuming you have not had any more unprotected sexual encounters, you are conclusively NOT HIV+
You also tested negative for all other STD's, so you have nothing to worry about. Put it down to experience and move on.
Hope this helps,
A
Just to add some color: What is frekaing me out is that I cant remember when the thrush first occured. I originally thought it was luekoplakia bc I have chewed tobacco for 10 years (I have since quit) so I went to the dentist and got the biopsy and he told me it was a fungal infection. That was exactly 3 weeks after my blood work was submitted and my HIV test was negative. So I think the thrush showed up about 1-3 weeks after my HIV test.... I have also read it could be diabetes but the timing is what concerns me. Can you get oral thrush from performing oral sex on a female? I also have mild jock itch...
You can not judge whether you get HIV by the symptoms you have. A 3 month test is a conclusive result.
