Oral Thush/ HIV question

Long story short like a stupid person I had protected sex with a CSW on 21/22 May. I woke up in the middle of the night 23 may with a slight burning on my penis head.  I saw now lesions or drips...nothing...just a little irritation.  The pain would come and go and just felt like irritation from rubbing.  May back also hurt which I was having issues before this incident.  Fast forward four days i was put on doxycycline x2 day / metronzole x2 day for 10 days just in case. I had anything.  I took a STD (herpes, clymadia, ghonnera, HIV, syphlis)  test about a week later and all was negative.  When I returned home I also took another panel with US doctors and all was negative.  I am feeling great then 9 June I noticed I had a mild case of oral thrush only on the back of my tongue.  I went to the Doc and they gave me Nystatin which Ive been taking 4x a day for 7 day today.  Im freaked out that it may could be HIV even though the docs reassured me that the antibiotics I was taking caused it.  The nystatin seems to be working but at a snails pace.

Anyone else have a simular situation.

You had no risk so your test results are conclusive.

I understand...I was a little drunk and unsure if the condom broke...but thank you for your response

I took a 6wk oraquick and it was neg...I know 3mon is conclusive bit is this reassuring? I intend on taking two more...1 between 8-10 and the other around 10-12

Thanks...I just want this stuff gone...I know my strss isn't helping... Nystatin isn't helping yet it's only in the back of my tongue...this is they only thing I have thats worry some

Also ibwas off the meds for about a week...I assume you can have side effects up to a couple of weeks after stopping

Hi, if the condom did not rupture, and you would have known as your penis head would be sticking out, then you had zero risk for contracting hiv so no testing is needed. Your doc is correct that antibiotics can cause thrush in the mouth.

I do intend on taking and HIV test again at 8 weeks and 12 to be safe
