with a stripper(im a male, and i performed her oral and she performed on me). Dont know if i had some sore of mouth lesion that day, but its possible, cause my gums sometimes bleed when i brush my teeth
(left side) and 1 near the jaw. They appeared aorund the same time, and are still present.
Had a white lesion in the mouth, that i saw could be oral candida, that ive been told its common on hiv+.
So, i woke up today with a very stuff nose and a really bad sore throath
Now im thinking again i got infected, even though you all say that oral low risk situation
Are my symptoms compatible with ARS and ARS timing??
Would u guys tell me to get tested??
Im very worried, not sleeping well, cant really focus on anything i do
Afraid of getting tested and being pos., dont really know how to live with that..
Again, i know ur opinion, but im now in the 8th week after the exposure and still have symptoms, like swollen lymps (i found another one in my groin). Isn't it weird such real symptoms to come without an infection?
Is there something else that can cause this kind of symptoms?? Im really scared, dont really know what to do..
Only a Dr. can diagnose Enlarged Lymphnodes. If you continue to touch them, they will enlarge and stay. Your symptoms mean NOTHING, the fact that you had PROTECTED intercourse means EVERYTHING.
Do you see his post anymore? Nope because he was banned. I went back and read his previous posts. He changed his story several times (first it was unprotected sex, then oral sex, then he asked about getting HIV from his girlfriend sweating too much). he has no education on the subject and was trying to scare people. He even admitted in one post that he has not even tested for HIV.
That guy was not infected through oral sex. He is suffering from anxiety due to irrational fear of having contracted HIV. He is irresponsibly spreading false information on the forums, and making people needlessly paranoid.
In answer to your question, JC has given you a risk assessment, and even answered your follow-up questions.
FYI, that guy had another post for a mental disorder. Hope that makes you feel better. Was looking at his profile and his posts. Thinking he may have other issues.
Ok, please don't kick me out. I just wanted to write that.
I've just come back from a HIV testing clinic. A specialist confirmed that oral sex does pose a real but small risk. I'm not trying to incite fear but I dont think its fair that people are saying that there is no risk whatsoever and you need to be tested. If you have unprotected sex (any sort) you should be tested regardless of the "risk" to minimise the spread of infection.
