Oral home test negative, accurate?

I posted another question where I had protected sex with a stripper a couple years ago. I used a condom and it did nor break and I received unprotected oral. I just a couple months ago developed mosscullem contagium.

I couldn't take the stress anymore so I bought an Orasure home saliva HIV test. I swabbed my upper and lower gum once like it said and waited 20 mins with it in the solution.

The test after a little over 2 years since this experience came up negative. Should I be confident in these results?

For any infection, the test is always done to confirm / rule out a doubt. In your case, even the doubt does not exist and so does the need of the test. Throw all your residual worries out of your mind and move on with your life

No it did not fail, but I suffer from hypochondria and severe anxiety, I just was making sure about the accuracy of the test that I took. I am now in treatment for these mental disorders.

As you were told, you had protected sex and your protection did not fail during the sex (did it?), therefore your risk never existed. You did not need a test in first place.

Yes, I just didn't know if it was less accurate because it was at home. Its FDA approved, and 99.96% accurate for negative results. It was not done by a medical professional but by me. It is the same one they used at places like Planned Parenthood and health centers. After 2-2 1/2 years something would have showed up.

You did not have a risk and your negative test proves it.
