Oral with possible added complication?!

Oral with possible added complication?!

Gents

I think from reading all of the other forums and answers you have provided, that I already know the answer, however.....

I met a black South African girl about 3 weeks ago, and back at her place we kissed (ie snogged pretty full on) for quite a while, and then she gave me a BJ. There were no cuts, sores etc etc apparent on her mouth and certainly none on mine. I think the main thing that is worrying me is that she has only recently come into the country from South Africa, which does have quite a high proportion of HIV infected people.... After worrying constantly, i did unfortunately have to ask her if she was HIV positive, to which her answer was "i dont believe so", which i dont know if it fills me with confidence or not. I dont know if that is being far too stereotypical of me, or even ignorant, but her english isnt great, and she is from a tribal background......

About 3 days after the "experience" i did get a sore throat, which I still have, headaches and musle aches, but no "cold" symptoms, ie blocked up nose etc. however, I am putting this down to catching a cold/virus from her or someone else though?

Basically, with this possible "added complication", are the chances of getting me HIV still more or less nil? I know if she is negative as she says, then i dont have anything to worry about, but is this still the case if she is HIV positive?

Your thoughts and answers will be greatly appreictaed.... thank you.

I suspect you are already on target here.  Your risk of HIV from this exposure is virtually non-existant.  Kissing, even vigorously, and receiving a blow job do not transmit HIV.  That you got a sore throat a few days after your exposure is probably irrelevant in the absence of other symptoms.

Hope this helps.   EWH
