PCR DNA test results - how long?

Does anyone know how long it takes to get back results for a PCR DNA test (done as a confirmatory test after a repeatedly reactive EIA and an indeterminate Western blot)?  The woman at my OB's office "has no clue!" but thinks not more than one or two weeks (torture!).

Do you know if pregnant women with HIV usually go to any kind of specialists, other than the regular OB?

i got a few PCR's done before and the wait was 3 days
look up PCR testing in a search engine. i'm sure you can find the reputable company that does them.  i would flat out tell you, but i dont wanna get in trouble on here for "advertising". the test cost me 300 dollars.  they did a complete blood count, EIA, and PCR.  the complete blood count (only thing i cared about was the white blood cell count) came back the next day, and two days after, i got the PCR results. give it a try

Thanks, I had the test done at the OB, but maybe I'll get it done again privately if they can get the results back to me fast.  Thanks for the idea.
