PCR Positive

2 days after exposure, I went in for HIV PCR testing and anti-body testing.  Anti-body test came back negative.  MA was not clear in her msg., but sounded like PCR came back positive.  How accurate is the PCR test?  Can someone describe what a detailed PCR test result looks like??

Exposure was that it was a oral from a sex worker.  Do you think I'm at any risk?  Also, you mentioned PCR is unreliable - but yet it is used for newborns??

Don't you think his persistent attempt to go without protection are evidence of his being positive?

No. nPEP has to be taken within 72 hours of having unprotected sex with a person KNOWN  to be HIV positive.
