PCR RNA Qualitative & PCR Pro viral DNA

Dear Dr.

Pls let me know weather PCR RNA Qalitative & PCR Pro viral DNA test in India is able to test all the subtypes of HIV 1 viruses & also CRF's. like CRF_AE, CRF_AB etc. which are more prominent in some parts of the world.

I have tested both the test are negative and now doctor is recomending PCR RNA Viral Load test.
As in qualitative analysis it is not detecting , is it worth of doing this test.

No. If you had a risk a standard antibody test is enough. Find another doctor that knows about HIV testing.
