PCR RNA tests

PCR RNA tests

Would a 2 week viral load test be conclusive?  It seems to me that if you contracted HIV, it would be in your blood at high levels by 2 weeks.  Of course, I'm not a DOC.  Is there anyway someone should be worried if they have a undetectable viral load at 2 weeks and neg antibody test at 7.5 weeks.  I experienced sore throat, nights sweats and other odd symptoms.  Has anyone ever heard of someone testing neg at 7.5 weeks and later testing positive?
I'd appreciate anyones educated opinion

I've read on the doc forum that they haven't seen a neg 6 wk turn pos, but it must happen right?  It would seem logical that the body would produce antibodies within a few weeks in reaction to the HIV virus.  Is 3 mos truly 100% conclusive.  I've read 6 mos.  My PCP and ID docs said 6 mos.

I suppose nothing in life is 100%.  I just wonder why it takes some people 3 mos.  Is it because they didn't test at 6 weeks and maybe it would have been pos then, or did their body really not develop enought antibodies until 3 mos?  Has there been research on why it takes some people longer?  If I was truly experiencing ARS symptoms, wouldn't it make sense that my body would be spitting out antibodies to fight the virus and it would be detected?  I know I have a lot of questions, but I just can't stop thinking about all the odd symptoms I have experienced.

Your got tested with the RNA PCR at the right time and backing up the undetectable PCR at the 6 week is a very very strong indicator that you don't have HIV. Get one final test at the 12 weeks,it will be negative 100%. I guarantee you.

I hope you didn't misunderstand, I had a viral load at 2 weeks and antibody test at 7 weeks all neg.  mike_no, you said something about PCR at 6 weeks.  I didn't have that.  I was planning on have an antibody test at 9 weeks and viral load test at 9 weeks.  Would this be conclusive?  It seems to me that if you don't have antibodies at 9 wks and no virus is present, then it would be impossible to have HIV.  Does anyone have any thoughts?
