PEP treatment

I had PEP treatment a few months ago after believing i was exposed to HIV through anal intercourse. I was told that the treatment could delay the development of anti-bodies.  My question is, since i haven't been on the treatment for months, could it still delay the development of anti-bodies after exposure to HIV even though it isn't in my body anymore?  Or does that just occur when taking the treatment?

I also tested negative for HIV after 8 weeks and have my 12 week test coming up and am paranoid about the PEP delaying the anti-bodies- even though i completed the treatment about 3 months before my 8 week negative result.  I hope i'm not confusing you doc and am grateful for an answer.

Maybe i wasn't making myself very clear.  My question was, because i've been on PEP, could it delay the development of anti-bodies in the future? e.g if i get infected next year, or the year after that, could the anti-bodies be delayed because i've been on PEP?
