Piercing and oral sex

by Peachpop, Jun 14, 2009 11:54AM
I really hope that I don't upset anyone with this post. I'm having some concerns and I just hope someone can help. I know that it is said over and over that oral sex is no risk. But can someone help me determine the risk of a genital piercing. I read a study where it was suspected that genital piercings increased the risk of hiv through oral sex. I have my clitoral hood pierced. Would a piercing provide an entry into the bloodstream even if it is not new? My boyfriend is experiencing some issues like neck and stomach pain and backaches. I'm really worried i read that the doctors suggest testing 6-8 weeks after a oral sex exposure which i did twice and they were negative. If anyone has any insite i would really appreciate it. I'm just concerned about the piercing. Please respond Thanks

No increased risk.

If you had had a risk (which you didn't)...the tests prove that you were not infected.
