Please help me!!!

by kukuhi123, May 26, 2008 09:30AM
Few months back I had protected sex(vaginal) with an unknown female partner. Being not sure whether the condom tore or not, I underwent DNA PCR test at Ranbaxy labs after 40 days of exposure.
Its been 5 months now. But last week, I had high fever with body & head ache. The routine Urine test showed Urinary Tract Infection with Leukocytes count ranging from 15-20. My doctor prescibed me some antibiotic and I was fine within a weeks time (this time the Leukocytes count ranging from 3-5) . Is this due to HIV? Z

I have been living under immense pressure for the past few days.I want to know whether I am out of danger, or do I still need to go for an ELISA test

PCR-DNA is not a diagnostic test. Yes you need to get tested with the correct test. If your possible exposure was 3 months or more you can test now and get a conclusive test result.

Plus what Sunny stated. You would have known if the condom failed. I got my cart before the horse.
