Plssssssssss. help! Am I exposed to HIV !

Hi i am 30 yr. old married man from India. Its been 4 yrs. of my marriage and during this time i've never had any relationship or intercourse with anybody except my wife. on 3rd july '11. i went for a party at my friends place where i had an intercourse with a pros who was an uzbeki girl and was called by my friend. My conscious dint allow me to do so but i still had it for some foolish reason which i am very much guilty of.
I got very scared of getting HIV right after i was over with this girl. During my intercourse i touched her vagina and did put my finger in her vagina. after then coz of the less erection in my penis i pulled out my penis out of her vagina and took off the condom and tried giving erection with my hand i also made my hand wet by putting it in my mouth.(i had just pulled the condom with the same hand so it could be that there was some vaginal fluid on my fingers which could have gone in my mouth(i did not have any cut in my mouth)). after than i placed the same condom on my penis and finished my intercourse. i also kissed her. After my intercourse i asked her if she has any sickness. she replied she has a 3 yr. old baby so she strictly take care of this that she doesnt get infected. but what answer u can expect fropm a sex worker she would never tell you that she is infected.
on 12th July after 9 days of my exposure with that pros. i had mild fever about 99 - 99.5 which came along with headache and lot of muscles strain with pain in legs and back and lot of lathargicness and upset metabolism(no diarrhea. no swollen nodes).
I decided to go to doctor and get my self tested. i told the whole story to the doctor and he asked me to get urine and vdrl test done which both resulted non reactive. after reading alot on internet i came to know that if my CD4 count has gone down right now it could be it. on 16th July i my self went to a lab and got my cd4 done which came to be 386. I went to the doctor again and doctor said that it can also go down due to some other infection or viral of lost of immunity due to anxiety and trust me by then my anxiety level was at peak. Doctor also suggested me to get a CD4 count done again after 3 days which came to 630 on 19th July. My doctor called it normal as there is nothin wrong CD4 count can go down for various reasons. He suggested me to get an elisa and western blot done after 6 weeks of my exposure.
My anxiety went on and on and i could not hide it from my wife. Though my wife has forgiven me but it has badly ruined my married and work life.
I have got my tests done on 19th July '11 (Elisa and western blot both) and they both are non reactive. Pls. tell me what could be the possibility of me having it after 12 weeks test or there after.
Pls help me! Eversince my exposure i am using condoms for intercourse with my wife. i am very much scared that may be that once done with out condom could have infected her also if i am infected.
Sorry for my post to be bit lengthy but i wanted to explain all that is happening with me. Pls. help me. PLs. PLs. PLs. i am very much scared.

You never had a risk of hiv infection and your doctor is an idiot for suggesting those tests.Find another doctor.Your safe, its the guilt that is making you worry so much.

my exposure is almost the same as yours. so when you removed the condom, you masturbated with the hand which touched the vaginal fluids on the condom?. if so,
experts here told  that this is a zero risk but
i had anxiety which caused me night sweats and pain in lefr arm for a long time.

You had protected sex. You didnt have any risk to begin with. Your test result after 6 weeks proves you dont have HIV.  Get over it.

I have been trying alot to calm myself but the rise of stress is making it worse. Lately ihave been feeling some blockage in my ears even pain sometimes which is on and off and shifts from one ear to other along with gen. tiredness. I also wanted to share my test results with you. HIV 1 & 2 & P24 combo test has come with index value of 0.17 and along with it it says non reactive.
And my western blot has come with following result HIV 1 - Negative, HIV 2 - Negative,
HIV 1 Antibodies against:
Envelope antigens(gp41:-ve, gp120:-ve,gp160:-ve)
GAG/Core Antigens(p17:-ve, p24:-ve, p39:-ve, p55:-ve)
POL Antigens(p31:-ve, p51:-ve, p66:-ve)
HIV 2 antibodies against:
gp 36: -ve.

My mojor concern in here is the index value 0.17. does it mean that it has started reacting and is at min value right now and will increase gradually.

Pls. revert. need help.

of course not!
That data (index of reactivity) needs only to those who work in laboratories and in in my opinion it should not be on the results of your tests. It is just a normal level of reactivity that is produced by laboratory conditions when thay performed the test, it means NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT!

You DIDN'T exposed yourself to HIV, and therefore you can't have HIV. Stop doing unnecessary tests.

Thanks alot for the quick reply.
Then what is this all tiredness and pain in my ears. Is it anxiety. I am worried abt my self and even more abt my family. I would never want that they get punished of some mistake which i have made in my life.
Thankyou once again

Please suggest. tomorrow i am completing my 12 weeks after exposure. should i go for a final test or should i wait for another week and let it be 3 complete months. And would it be conclusive. i want to get over it ASAP.

12 weeks 84 days is 100% conclusive so go take the test. You can have either test because they both look for antibodies. All the best.

Hi!
Had a HIV 1 & 2 and P24 combo done on 89th day after my exposure. and it has come back negative with index value 0.13.
but i am still unable to get it out of my mind. thoughts coming to me are like what if the test has gone wrong someway and the result shown is not correct or what if this one is not 100% conclusive coz doctors here are saying that u need to retest at 6 months and that will be conclusive though i ve read it several times in your comments and others that now 3 months is 100% conclusive.
I am also facing some health issues lately like gastric problem and chronic fatigue through out the day specially severe in the mornings when i get up.
I am very much worried. pls. suggest. could there be still a chance of HIV occurence or am i still going through anxiety.

Your 100% Hiv negative and you don,t require any further testing. 6 months is wrong and outdated and whoever gave you that information doesn,t know anything about Hiv window periods and is still living in the past. All those problems you are experiencing are related to anxiety.Once you stop worrying they will all go away.
