Hi Im new to this forum but I have read alot yet I can't seem to find the answer to my question. Just under 3 months ago my gf of 2 years and I split up. I made a bad choice by sleeping with 2 women a week apart without protection. 2 weeks ago I went into the ER because I found what I thought was herpes on my penis
. The swab came back negative. Great. But at the same time I decided to get tested for everything. My results have been bothering me all week. As my ELISA
came back + but my western blot came back - . And so I'm stressing as to how accurate the western blot is considering the time frame. I'm still waiting the results to my follow up blood test. Also the rash on my penis
here and there. Front and back. I've been reading up on ars yet I haven't found the exact symptoms anywhere. Can you give me an idea if I should be worried? Does a + ELISA
and a negative on a western blot. false positives on elisas happen and that is why a positive result is followed up by a western blot for confirmation.
