Possible HIV exposure

I went to Scotland and had sex with a sex worker at a sauna. During sex the condom broke. I'm guessing it was broken for about 2 minutes. I came inside of her. After sex we both realized the condom was broke. I freaked out and so did she. She was historical. She canceled all of her appointments and went to get checked. Before she left she assured me she was clean and said she has two kids and only does this from time to time. About a week later I experienced a rash on my balls and penis. I have been diagnosed with jock itch before so it didn't concern me.  At 10 days passed possible exposure I went to my doctor and got checked for all STDs including HIV and herpes. All test came back negative.  The HIV test tested for antibodies and/or DNA/RNA. It came back negative. About 14 days past exposure I had a stuffy nose sneezing and no fever a slightly swollen node painless on my neck. I had two watery bowel movements that night after I ate chicken nuggets from mcdonalds. The next morning I went to my doc and he diagnosed me with a sinus infection. I took antibiotics and steroids. My sinus infection cleared up but my node did not go down right away. It took about 4 weeks all together for it to go down completely. At 26 days post possible exposure I took an oraquick test which came back negative. At 28 days I started to experience mild tension headaches. They lasted for a week and are gradually decreasing. I also developed a rash on the inside of my finger. I'm not concerned about it because it's the same finger I have eczema on from time to time. I'm freaking out. I search all day on the Internet and worry all day. Please help!

Hi.  You've tested negative for HIV and as our members said, that was expected as you had a non risk event.  There is really nothing to add to that.  Seeing your doctor for any other health concerns might be a good idea but they are not related to HIV.  We wish you the best of health.

The condom failed and you need to test, so it's good that you have begun the process.Your test at 26 days gives you a fair idea of your status, but it is NOT conclusive. The CDC and international guidelines state a confirmatory test at 12 weeks will give you 100% conclusive results. MedHelp stands by this recommendation.
You were tested for other STD's at 10 days, but the problem with that is the window period for all STD's is not the same. Below is the National Institute of Health's window period guideline for the most common STD's:

STDs are detected at different times:

Chlamydia - anytime from 1 week to 3 weeks
Gonorrhea - anytime from 2 days to 30
Syphilis - anytime from 10 days to 3 months
Herpes – anytime from 2 weeks to 3 months
Hepatitis B – anytime from 3 weeks to 2 months
Hepatitis C – anytime up to 6 months

Symptoms are NEVER used to diagnose HIV. Please avoid "symptom hunting" on the internet. You will get many conflicting "facts" that will do nothing but increase your anxiety.

I wish you the very best outcome.

Thank you I appreciate you taking the time to answer me. I have a new question. The node on the right side my neck is not swollen but I can still feel it. It's small, movable and painless. The right side of my neck tends to be sore off and on. I mess with the node constantly all day long. Is that node any cause for concern?

I'm sorry that the condom broke!  It is great that you were using them and generally, they are very safe and protect you.  Are you sure that it broke as that is usually extremely noticeable and messy?  If it indeed broke, then you both exposed yourself to HIV.  But remember, the other person would have to have it, right?  If you never have had a time in which you risk HIV before, then she has much less reason to worry.  And she sounds like she is also aware of the risks and has taken appropriate precautions and you, therefore, have less reason to worry.  But you probably still will and this would be a good time to wait the appropriate waiting period and take a test.
Rest assured though, none of the symptoms you describe would be related to HIV.  Those are irrelevant to any exposure and not indicative of anything.  Best

Took another oraquick test at 50 days post exposure. It came back negative. I still have an unoticeable movable node in my neck. I can only feel it when I lean my head all the way back.

None of your symptoms are hiv symptoms

Rash alone on finger -no
Sneezing -no
Stuffy nose - no

You said your self the girl has two kids and was freaked out about the condom break

Sounds like a sex worker who likes to keep herself clean of STDs to me

And what you say that is wrong with you, you give a reason why

Also do you think your headaches could be because youre stressing over nothing?
