Possible HIV transmission through saliva ?

Hello, recently at school people infected with Hiv/Aids came to talk to us about it and how to prevent it. My class was sitting in the front row, and on of them was no more than a yard away from me. I felt like a saliva or spit particule hit my eye when he talked. After that 30 mn later that eye was kind of red. 2 days later i felt like i was comming down with something but I didn't. 3 days later I got a mild rash on my torso and back. What does this mean. Is what happened to me irrelevant ? Thank you so much I appreciate it.

it is irrelevant as saliva is not infectious..and you cant get hiv through saliva in contact with eyes..dont worry you are allright
