Possible exposure, am I overracting?

in April of this year I had an encounter with a man I did not know....he penetrated me anally for maybe 15 -30 seconds before I stopped because it was too painful.  Prior to that we had some oral sex for a few minutes.  I am obviously not positive about the presence of pre-ejaculation.  My anus did have bleeding afterwards.  I spoke to him the next day and specifically asked about hiv, he said he had been tested on 12/05/08 and came back negative.  He said he did not regularly engage in risky anal sex, or anal sex at all.  But, who knows if you can trust someone you don't know.

I know i need to get tested, but I would like to know what the chances of hiv transmission in this scenario....from a health professional.  I have been reading a lot of information on the web, but I would just like to hear it from a doctor or nurse.
