Possible exposure... just want an opinion

I'll make this short... Went to colombia, stayed in an all inclusive hotel so liquor was free (drunk 24/7), had unprotected sex with a woman on the staff ,  3 days later came down with meningitis( self diagnosis, no fever though.) I have HSV-2 and remember having meningitis at acute infection. its 3 weeks later no other symptoms, Took a rapid test at 2 1/2 weeks(neg). I will go again at six weeks. I just cant stop worrying because of the meningitis. My questions are could this happen only 3 days after exposure? Does the massive amount of hard liquor consumption weaken the immune system enough to have recurrent meningitis with HSV-2. Do any other sexually transmitted disease cause meningitis ****! Im an idiot. I've been reading posts on here and the one commonality on them is alcohol consumption. I'm taking this as a learning experience and changing my lifestyle. Hopefully it isn't to late. Any professional insight would be great

a test done at 6-8 weeks post exposure will give you a good indication of your status...but follow that up at 3 months for a conclusive result.
