Possible exposure

I took a stripper into a private room and we decided to have protected sex.  I let her put the condom on which was a bad idea.  She tried rolling it on backwards.  That caused air to get in it when she put it on the right way, something we didn't notice until we started having sex.  We stopped having sex and she threw the condom on the ground because she was annoyed.  I asked her if she had another one and she didnt.  We stupidly reused the one we had.  I'm not sure what side was put on me.  It could have been the side that had her vaginal fluids on it.  Would it be possible to catch HIV from such an event?

Thanks for the post.  Do you think that it would be possible to contract HIV from a condom?  First of all, it would have had to survive on/in the condom for some period of time (roughly 60 seconds).  Also, I'm guessing that the amount would have to be minor based on the small amount of vaginal fluid that would have been on/in the condom.  Also, the fact that I didn't catch anything else more contagious seems very positive?  Other std's typically increase the odds of passing or catching HIV right?

Your negative results for standard stds is good to go.  As far as the HIV threat, according to RXs on other board, three very unlikely things must happen for you to be infected.  One, your partner must be HIV positive.  Very unlikely if you are in US and she is not a IV drug user.  RX stats suggests about 1 in 1000 or less.  Second the rate of transfer is about 1 time in 1 - 2000 exposures.  That already makes your chance of infection hugley in your favor.  Roughly 1 in 1000000.  A negative test at 6 wks is proof positive you did not get infected.  The accuracy of the tests at 6 wks plus the highly unlikely fact your partner was infected or gave it to you would put you in clear.  You were much higher risk for standard STDs and you have already tested for that.  At 6 wk mark have standard antibody test from health dept and don't worry till then.
