Proviral HIV DNA by PCR

by Weebo, Aug 30, 2009 07:52AM
I had unprotected oral sex with this woman (we did each other) on 8/7, 3 days later I found out she is HIV.
That day (3 days later) I had a Proviral HIV DNA by PCR Testing done (they proboly didnt test it until the 8th) which came back negative then 9 days later I had my doctor take blood to do an HIV test which came back negative. I hear good things and bad things about Proviral HIV DNA by PCR. Should I get a third test?

You cannot get HIV from oral sex.

You are wasting your money on DNA PCR tests; they're not even CDC approved for HIV testing.

From what I understand is it's possible to get it thru sucking on coochie.
