SUCKING OR LICKING NIPPLES
adults CANNOT contract hiv from sucking a nipple...even one from a lactating mother. hiv can be transmitted from mother to child in this manner due to the large volume of milk consumed AND the fact that an infant's immune system is not yet developed.
RUBBING...WHETHER VAGINAL AND/OR ANAL
transmission requires penetration and takes place INSIDE the body.
REMOVING CONDOM
when removing a condom and you touch the outside where vaginal secretions might be present...hiv will NOT be transmitted if you, in turn, touch the head of your penis.
SLIPPED OR ROLLED UP CONDOM
if your condom does not cover the entire shaft of your penis...you are not at risk. as long as the head of your penis is covered...you were not at risk.
CONDOM PROTECTED SEX
if you wore a condom...you were PROTECTED or guarded against infection. EVEN IF you see blood on the condom...you were STILL protected.
CONDOM FAILURE
condom failure is NOT something that you have to guess about. condoms dont get microscopic holes in them during sex and allow the virus to enter. FAILURE IS CATASTROPHIC and exposes the head of your penis.
IF YOU HAD UNPROTECTED VAGINAL/ANAL INTERCOURSE OR SHARED IV DRUG WORKS WITH SOMEONE OF UNKNOWN STATUS...YOU PUT YOURSELF AT RISK OF CONTRACTING HIV.
Hey, Dear Ma'm......
I collected my negative test result at 13.5 months after a very possible anal exposure with an HIV+ possitive gay male. I was insertive partner and was unprotected....
Thanks, I recieved your kind words always during my anxiety.
what if you had unprotected sex with a girl in march and i n july she took a test and she was negative and she was the last person u had sex with, are you at risk or should the person get tested
I read the below query on internet and got frightened!
My girlfriend is very sweaty. So if during the act her sweat goes into my system, what harm can it cause?
Also, if your fingers touch the fluid of the vagina, what are the chances of getting AIDS?
Thanks and regards
Sahil*
It would be best if your girlfriend took a shower and used a deo/fragrance just prior to love-making. Fresh sweat is normally not malodorous. It is only with bacterial decomposition that it becomes malodorous. Yes, certain infections, including HIV/AIDs, can be transmitted by sweat fluids. If the fingers coming in contact with vaginal fluid have cracks or cuts, then it is possible to pick up the HIV virus or any other infective agent contained in it.

just 1 Q??
WHAT ABOUT RUBBING PENIS AGAINST VIGINA (vagina) WITH WOUNG ON PENIS,DOES THE VIGINA (vagina),S LUBRICANT CAN TRANSFER HIS VIRUS TO ME BECAUSE OF WOUND ON MY PENIS???????
PLZ ANSWER
--please don't "bump" this valid question/concern!! Please.
How is "Vaginal Rubbing," aka Frottage, not a risk!? It is SKIN-TO-SKIN vigorous grinding - in which typically a girl gets very wet, thus getting her Vaginal Secretions all over the man's pen*s. Isn't this is a risk?! How could it not be!? I just do not get the logic behind how it can't be.
Also, would it be a risk to engage in a similar act, yet w/boxers on, and grinding. For example, inserting while covered by one's boxers? Shouldn't that be a risk, though not as high as skin-to-skin grinding?

But Teak, why warn me when I just want to know. I am really very scared/curious. And would love to know why it posses no risk when it seems logical that it could present quite a risk?!
thank you, I know about the rule and the thing is I have searched through the forums. All I have ever found is that it says "frottage is no risk," but never really explains why.
I just want to know why it is no risk. When to me it seems like it presents quite a risk.
Is that fair of me to ask!? I think so.
And on another note, I really do love the work you guys do here. It is so helpful. But I just really wanna know why it is no risk.
HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions, therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.
One question though, what about the vigorous grinding of frottage, in which the urethra of the pen*s would basically be right up again the vaginal lips and the entire area covered in vaginla secretions, couldn't the fluids go into the urethra? Because then the HIV wouldn't necessarily be outside, if transfered directly from the skin-to-skin grinding - from the secretions to the penis opening
