Query about the HIV test?

Hi, i had unsafe sex in December of last year i.e. 2008. I tested myself for HIV and other STD in first week of June. The results came out negative. Is it safe to assume that everything is fine??? should i go for another test now, cause i have heard that the "window period" maybe up to 6 months or more.. someone who knows exactly about these things please answer.thank u

The window period is three months. You don't need further testing.
