Question about HIV Testing and Exposure - Follow up
I couldnt reply in my original thread so I am just going to do it here. My apologies if this goes against the rules. I just had to share with everyone how hard its been the last 4.5 months and where I am now.
I did another antibody test at 4 months and guess what??? It was negative!!!!! I am HIV
free! I now completely understand why an event in which one regrets ever having can really get to a person and stress a person out to the point that they are infected with the worse STD ever. Its all guilt! I was negative at 6 weeks, 10 weeks, and I kept worrying about it so I tested at 4 months and guess what? NEGATIVE!!!!! Not everyone who has an encounter they regret, gets infected but we tend to fear
test. Its hard, I know I've been there but when you get a negative result at the sufficient time, you have to believe the results or you will drive yourself crazy.
I am here to share my experience and to also thank Dr. Hook and Dr. Hansfield for their dedication to this site. You two have helped many people get through difficult times and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. I will forever be grateful for all the insight that you provided me when I was being irrational and kept repeating my questions. My apologies for that. I also thank those that are on here that help others out during difficult times.
Last but not least thanks to God for keeping me safe
during this difficult time and thanks for blessing us with Dr. Hook and Dr. Hansfield! They are truly a godsend!
to everyone at medhelp, I need lots of time from this board to focus on things that I have been neglecting for a while. I wish everyone luck and Godbless!
