This varies widely from person to person. Your symptoms are still non-specific and can be caused by so many things other than HIV. The best thing is to take a test and make sure it isn't.
I've read a lot about generalized lymph nodes being associated with hiv, which seems to be what i have as they are in a few places. Do you know how long they last? they seem to appear, go away in a day, then another one appears
I can completely relate to you on this. My nodes seem to do the same thing. I feel them, then all of a sudden its like they've gone down. My arms felt funny one week, then the next week it was my groin, but never all at once. I'm testing tomorrow and this all has me so nervous. I'm trying to keep faith, but its difficult.
The swollen nodes associated with HIV are big in size, you don't have to look for them, they are quite big in size and are distict enought to be figured out.
Anxious, u are correct. In fact, way beyond anxious. I wake up every hour of every night feeling for lymph nodes. I can honestly say I think about this every minute of every day at the moment. What else would cause lymph nodes to be painful and lumpy for 3 weeks. They tend to disappear then come back. I cant see what else would cause this to last for this long
