Question about the Finger ***** Oraquick Advance Test

I took a finger ***** oraquick advance rapid test earlier today and it came back negative.  However when I got home I looked up the instructions on how to administer the test and the counselor that took care of me skipped a step.  The instructions say that after you ***** the person's finger, you should wipe the FIRST drop of blood on the finger away and squeeze the finger for another drop of blood.  Then you should collect the sample.  I know this is bordering on OCD but do you think the fact that the counselor skipped this step may have affected the accuracy of the test?  I understand that there's an internal control of some sort that tells you that a test was properly performed (a line or something).  Is this true?  Should I test again?  Thanks.

What's your definition of "excessive?"  I haven't posted in over 4 months!  I would just like an answer to my question, Teak.  If you aren't willing to contribute then stay off my thread.  Maybe someone should report YOU.  Now please can someone with something to add respond to my question?
