Question about toilet and hiv

Question about toilet and hiv

Was at college last night and when i went into toilet i wiped the seat as i always do before i sit on it. It wasnt until i was up from seat and wiping that i noticed blood stains on the outer bowl and some on the actual toilet seat. Im now scared that i have caught something from this. The blood was relatively fresh and my other concern is, that ive touched the handle and lock when ive went in and when i was wiping my finger slipped on to my vagina. Is there any risk or need for tests?  I also have wee cuts on my hands that could have been an entry point for blood.

hiv is not transmitted through environmental surfaces or inanimate objects.

I totally understand that.  If yous say im not at risk then hopefully ill forget about it.  I am aware that hiv cannot be contracted infected person ---> surface -----> person, but that did freak me out as it was fresh blood.

I know personally what it is like to worry about HIV, but you have absolutely no risk. ZERO. You are fine. And no it would not show up this early. The infection takes time to show up. You are absolutely fine though. We would not give you false information.
