Questions about Doc's findings

by NoSleepTill, May 21, 2009 05:09AM
I had two issues I wanted to bring up where findings that the Doctor gives in this forum don't square with what I've read elsewhere.

1.  The doctor says that most newly-infected don't show signs of ARS.  However, I have read in other sources that anywhere from 40%-90% show symptoms.

2.  Also, the doctor states that mouth ulcers, such as canker sores, generally appear in those with advanced HIV or AIDS.  However, I have read that canker sores are one of the possible myriad of symptoms associated with ARS.

Any information or clear-ups would be well appreciated.

Thanks!
