RA patient testing for hiv

RA patient testing for hiv

hello,

I tested negative for hiv through a 4th generation duo test 4 weeks after exposure with a hiv+ve person. MY doc says HIV with duo testing is definitive at 4 weeks.

However i am a RA patient, would liketo know, if  this effects my window period, because i am confused if a autoimmune disorder different from immuno deficiency through chemo or something ?

Thanks

having RA does not make a difference in the window period of 3 months post exposure.
