RAPID TESTING

Hello,

I have a question about rapid testing. I had a rapid test earlier today (around 81-85 days) past exposure.

RESULT: -VE.

I also had a COMBO test (8 weeks) past exposure.

RESULT: -VE

I just heard that RAPID tests are not as accurate? is that true? or are my results conclusive?

Yes, I know.. but is 84 day test considered as 3 months or is it only the 90 days test?

3 months is conclusive and that is 12-13 weeks.

also, the test was performed very simply...my blood was put into a bowl and she added some chemical.... she told me that one dot would be non reactive..... 2 dots reactive...... is that realiable? what about if we didnt wait enough for the 2nd dot to appear?

Now a days rapid tests are better than earlier days. They are reliable and very accurate.
Yes your results are conclusive and you are free from HIV.
