I hope this question doesn't sound stupid but...what does an ARS rash look like?
could it be a single pin-sized purplish-red dot on the skin?

well its more like 3 or 4 pin dots located on various body parts like a thy and the neck

A SINGLE pin sized purplish red dot on skin is very unlikely to be an ARS rash.
Usually ARS is comprised of more than a single symptom and the rash is more widespread than a single pin sized dot.
If you had a possible exposure, get an HIV test after 12 weeks from the last possible eposure.
