RISK and PEP

by Fabio12, Oct 26, 2008 07:06AM
First of all I would like to thank you for your time.
I am a male who had vaginal sex with a sex worker (Vietnam) , I was using condom  but certainty the condom broke ,  I stop pretty quickly  ,, I would say from the moment the condom break to the moment I stop no more than 2 min   ,I went to the doctor  after 15 hours and he put me PEP to considerer a sex workers high risk .
I will have to do a HIV testing in 6 weeks time , what’s my risk to come positive???

PEP is taken for 28 days, then you test 3 months after your last dose of PEP.
