I had an exposure Sunday night, for which I will be tested in the future (although I'm told that it was no-risk). Regardless, because I hadn't been tested in some time, I returned to a clinic I had visited before in Philadelphia.
The counselor used a type of rapid test I hadn't seen before: it wasn't orasure, had a rectangular base and a round circular testing surface. Blood was taken from a finger prick into a pipette, abd three separate reagents were applied and absorbed into the testing surface. There was one dot for control and the other if a positive result.
The counselor said that in Philly, almost all oral swab testing had switched over to this newer style, and said it was accurate after 45 days.
Anybody know anything about this test type?
