Rapid HIV validity

Thanks alot to the contributors of this site! You guys do great work. On August 13 I had a high risk enounter. Condom broke, anal. I pulled out immediately. March 13th I took a rapid test, anxiety was killing me I had to know, and they are fairly accurte (98%?). Test was negative, the worry gene kicked in a few days later. I began to worry maybe I did not swab my gums well enough, etc. If I did not swab well enough, would the test have indicated so? Or would it have just given me a negative as a default?

dont worry..you are anxious for no reason
you tested negative so your are NEGATIVE..
rapid tests are very accurate..
why test if you dont wana believe the test result?..
think about what i said and move on..
you DONT have hiv..you are negative

did u take the rapid test on ur own or went to  a doctor for it to be done?.. rapid tests are very accurate as long as it is done properly.  As long as u have done the test properly, ur result is conclusive.

Took it at an Hiv test center. Im not too worried, just a bit worried. I'm a case where I did not swab my gums well enough, would the person giving the test know that? Thanks a lot guys.

you are negative...you were taking a hiv test..i am sure you swabbed well enough
