Rapid Oral Oraquick
Hey Guys,
I took an oraquick test via mouth 4 months after exposure, I tested negative. I was wondering though if I did the test right because I rubbed it on my check and on my tougne, the PI says not to do that. However, I believe the test has controls, therefore if a sample was not taken it would come out neither positive or negative. Does anyone know? I had protected vaginal sex with a stripper, who I was told was positive.

I know i didnt need to test teak but it was for piece of mind. The test I took was the Oraquick Advance HIV
You didn't take an Oraquick test by mouth, it's a blood test. Oraquick Advance HIV 1/2 or Orasure can be done orally. You didn't need to take a test to begin with.
