Hello,
A few months ago, I had an Oraquick saliva test done. It was my conclusive 6 month test (I tested negative at 5 weeks). The result was negative. I now am in a new relationship and of course all of my worries from my past scare have come back. All of my worries have come back from my past scare of course. So my question is about the reliability of the oral rapidRapid shallow breathing test. Also, this is going to sound really dumb, but I was chewing gum right before I did the swab for the test. Does anyone know if that would have any effect on the results of the test? I know gum has some kind of alcohol in it? I don't know it could be a dumb question, but this is me becoming anxious all over again. Thanks so much to anyone who can help me out!
And no, gum wont affect the test - your results are accurate - go enjoy
